Training & Experience
Medical Degree
Originally from Pretoria, I completed my medical degree at the University of Pretoria.
International Experience
I gained international experience in General Surgery and Urology in Queensland, Australia.
Specialisation in Urology
I returned to South Africa to specialise in Urology at the University of Cape Town, training at Groote Schuur Hospital and Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
Advanced Training in Europe
Committed to providing the very best care, I have completed advanced surgical training at internationally recognised centres across Europe. I earned a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Strasbourg in France, and further developed my expertise in endourology, reconstructive urology and minimally invasive stone surgery alongside leading specialists in Germany, Greece and South Africa.
Robotic Surgery
In 2017, I became South Africa’s youngest certified robotic urological surgeon after completing my robotic surgery proctorship under renowned Swedish robotic surgeon Dr Magnus Annerstedt. Today, I perform advanced robotic-assisted procedures that can offer smaller incisions, greater precision, reduced pain, shorter hospital stays and a quicker return to everyday life.
